Kai Hazelgrove
Yoga Teacher
Kai is passionate about Yoga, Ayurveda and in particular supporting women through all the different stages of her life. She loves that yoga can be a journey of self-exploration, where you can finish a practice feeling completely different to how you felt when you started and that you can get the sense that there is nothing missing.
Students in Kai’s classes can expect a balanced, nurturing practice that will develop, strength, flexibility and focus along with points of enquiry for self-discovery and healing. Her classes cater for all levels of experience and her aim is to cultivate self-empowerment in her students, fostering change, transformation and growth.
Kai currently teaches an inclusive, therapeutic style Slow Flow Yoga (with a Viniyoga background), Prenatal Yoga, Feminine Yoga which encompasses, Slow Flow, Yin, Restorative postures, Meditation and Pranayama with a particular focus of tuning in to her sacred feminine centres and connecting with mother natures cycles (moon cycles, seasons, life cycles and menstrual cycles). This can also be of benefit for fertility. Kai also enjoys facilitating women’s circles which all about showing up for ourselves, exploring with curiosity, in an authentic way and connecting without judgement.
Kai completed her initial 350 hours under Rachel Nokes at Ray of Light and has been practicing and teaching yoga regularly ever since (5+ years) and is continuously studying and practicing yoga and delving into the sacred feminine more and more.
Kai has completed Teaching Yoga for Trauma, Anxiety, Depression & Body Image teacher training with Sarah Ball, Prenatal Yoga, Active Birth and Postnatal Yoga with Briony Goodsell, a 3 weekend Anusara yoga teacher training immersion with Earth and Sky Yoga (Cassandra Missio), Ayurveda Goddess (Katie Rose), The Subtle Practices of Yoga, Advanced yoga teacher training, and Devi Yoga teacher training all with Creature Yoga (Tahl Rinsky, Bess Prescott, Rose Baudin, Dena Kingsberg). Fertility Yoga teacher training level 1 and 2 through Bliss Baby Yoga (Ana Davies, Rosie Matheson). Yoga, meditation, spending time in nature, dancing, cooking nourishing meals, reading, connecting with family and friends, enjoying uplifting rituals and appreciating the simple things in life are all what she enjoys most.
